Rod Laver Arena Drainage Solutions

Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena is currently undergoing staggered stages of refurbishment as part of the $338 million second stage upgrade to Melbourne Park.

The work being carried out in the Rod Laver Arena provides well designed public and private facilities and Allproof’s drainage systems have been selected for their quality and design. Allproof’s Kaiteri grate is a sleek modern drain design providing high levels of drainage with a stylish look that compliments the new restrooms. The Kaiteri grate is available as a round in square or round in round design describing the shape of the stainless-steel plate attached to the PVC fitting. This kaiteri grate allows water to travel into the drain while hiding the view into the water trap making it a very aesthetic and durable option.

Allproof’s Vision channel shower drain has also been selected for use in the changing facilities for performers and sports stars. The strip drain has been custom made to run down the side of an entire wall in the communal changing rooms walk in level entry shower.

The Kaiteri grate is compatible with the Tilt a Grate puddle flange which has been designed for casting into concrete floors with a height and tilt adjustable spigot. The puddle flange provides an excellent surface to adhere waterproof membrane to and fits pipe sizes 80mm and 100mm into an Allproof floor waste gully.

Allproof’s passive fire protection products have also been selected for fire rating plumbing penetrations in new and existing areas of the project. Allproof Fire collars make an excellent retro fit easy install option providing a low profile.
